Hello, I am Aehong Min.

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Informatics (Track: Proactive Health Informatics) at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering at Indiana University Bloomington, USA. I am a member of Societal Computing (SoCo) LabProactive Health (ProHealth) Lab, and Complex Adaptive Systems & Computational Intelligence (CASCI) Lab and advised by Professor Patrick C. Shih. This summer, I am working as a UX Researcher Intern at Electronic Arts.

I am interested in technologies to support cooperative works for one’s well-being and health. Based on my background in visual communication design, sociology, and HCI/UX, I have utilized mixed methods with sociological, design, and UX perspectives to understand people and design potential technologies to provide better experiences. Specifically, my current research focuses on informal caregivers and technologies that support their collaborative work with other people to reduce their burden from caregiving work.
