Hello, I am Aehong Min.

I am an Assistant Professor of Professional Practice in the School of Information Studies at Louisiana State University.
Before joining LSU, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Irvine. I received my Ph.D. in Informatics (Track: Proactive Health Informatics) from Indiana University Bloomington, and my M.S. in Information Systems and B.S. in Sociology from Yonsei University in South Korea.
My research explores technologies that support cooperative and collaborative work for one’s well-being and health. Based on my background in visual communication design, sociology, and HCI/UX, I have utilized mixed methods to understand people and design potential technologies for better user experiences. Specifically, my research focuses on informal caregivers and technologies that support their collaborative work with other people to reduce caregiving burden.
